What a wonderful show with a beautiful venue and many cherished memories of making up my first Champion at this very showground.

The quality of dogs was mixed, many dogs with short tails, small in size and not reaching the breed standard. The breed standard defines well balanced, massive bone thoughout, powerful, majestic and free moving. Bitches exceeded the dogs on the day but on the credit side all dogs were well behaved with good temperaments and presented in first class condition."
