Thanks and Acknowledgements A special mention goes to Jan and Graham Hill, owners of Hanningfield Princess Leia and Honeybears Funny Girl. They are members of the Muddy Paws Working Newfoundlands group in Essex where we now enjoy our water training. Jan and Graham, along with the other members of the group have been brilliant in the way they have encouraged us, knowing that we are newfie novices. We'd also like to thank Joanne Watts and Swanpool Gina Lollobrigida (now a Champion, congratulations). That sweet expression and her amiable and affectionate nature (Gina's that is!) instantly convinced us that the legendary Newfoundland temperament was no myth and a newfie was for us. Newfie owners and exhibitors who we have since met and who have been friendly and encouraging also deserve a word of thanks, as do those people who have taken the time and trouble to email us with kind remarks and constructive suggestions. If you see us at a show, come up and say "hello" and let us know you've visited our site. We're always happy to have comments (good ones hopefully!) and suggestions.
